International School Libraries Month

October is International School Libraries Month! To celebrate this occasion, the Elementary Library had a book draw every Friday in October. To get ballots, students needed to complete a book review. The more reviews, the higher the chance of winning. The winners in October were: Enkhjin (2A), Anar (2B), Satai (2B), Dani (3B), Serchee (4A) and Solongo (5A). Each winner received a free book, courtesy of the library. Thank you to all the students who cooperated, and congratulations to the winners!

Coffee & Conversation: October Edition

October 28th, 2016 marked our second Coffee & Conversation event at the Library, a time for parents to get a better idea of what’s new and happening at our Library and our school. We had over 20 parents come, and we had great conversations together.
During the meeting we talked about the importance of reading aloud to your child at home. We also asked parents if they would be interested in volunteering at the Library. If you would like to do so, please send Ms. Realeza, our Teacher-Librarian, an email and we will set that up. Lastly, we have an event coming up on November 18th called International Games Day @ the Library. More details will follow.
As always, we look forward to seeing you in and around out school! Thank you to everyone who came out, and we look forward to seeing you at our November Coffee & Conversation event!
