ASU welcomes Mongolian national writer Tangad Galsan as guest speaker

We had a cordial visit from Tangad Galsan, Mongolian national writer. The writer shared poetic forms of the Mongolian language, his compositions and memories of his childhood moments. He was engaging and respectful to students’ questions and delivered his valuable advice. Mr. Galsan ignited students’ passion by stating, “You are very lucky kids, because you are gaining a global education. In the future please contribute to the development of Mongolia by respecting your parents and teachers, reading a lot of books, and honoring your mother tongue”. He showed respect to students by singing the last section of the most recent version of the Mongolian Anthem, which he wrote. We highly appreciate the renowned Mongolian writer Mr. Galsan for accepting our invitation and sharing his magnificent stories with our students.
