Grease Musical at ASU

On April 6th, 7th, and 8th, the Music and Drama department successfully staged ASU’s first musical, Grease! It was a wonderful event and the students involved captivated the audience through both their talent and extreme commitment. In the short 6 weeks that the production was rehearsed, over fifty students came together either on stage, in the pit band, or backstage to make the show the best it could be. Starring in the show were the Burger Palace Boys, played by Amar, Munkhbold, Tsetsenbat, Erdene and Taehoon, and the Pink Ladies, played by Khulan, Jenette, Tserendulam, Sarangerel, and Indra. Along with a sterling cast of supporting roles, the show would not have happened without their late nights and long weekends working. The ASU community is very proud of these students, and we look forward to a strong legacy of musical theater at ASU in the future.
