Harvard Model United Nations China
On Wednesday, March 16th, 15 ASU high school students set off for Beijing to participate in the Harvard Model United Nations (HMUN) China, 2016.
HMUN China is a multi-national conference organised and ran by students from Harvard University. This years conference featured over 1000 students representing schools from 12 different countries, who all travelled to Beijing for 4 intense days of debate, discussion, and collaboration on a variety of topics.
The ASU delegation did extremely well in all the committees they were entered in, with all students achieving more than they had imagined. On top of everyone’s personal successes, ASU students also brought home three conference awards. Only 50 awards were given out to over 1000 students, so congratulations to the following students:
- Misheel Enkhtur (12) – Honourable Mention
- Min Jeong Choi (12) – Honourable Mention
- Jenette Ellis (12) – Outstanding Delegate
