NHS's 2017-2018 Tsagaan Sar's Food and Fuel Drive

As one of their annual service projects, ASU's National Honor Society has organized for several years a Tsagaan Sar Food and Fuel Drive. This project involves the entire ASU community including students, families, teachers, staff and Administration from the Elementary and Secondary schools. All donations received were delivered to the Veloo Foundation and distributed to the families at the Peak in time for the Mongolian Lunar New Year. With monetary donations, not only were several boxes of buuv (Mongolian traditional biscuit) purchased to assist these families in celebrating Tsagaan Sar, but also two truckloads of coal were delivered to help heat homes. Thank you to everyone who shared in making the 2017-2018 Food and Fuel Drive a huge success.
